What is International Drone Day?

 

The purpose of International Drone Day is to show the world that remote-control flying machines are NOT all for bombing and spying!!!

 

They can be used for many good purposes: Movie making, search and rescue, fire and flood surveys,utility infrastructure and land management, architecture, inspections, emergency response, and, of course, for just having fun.

 

Team-Miniairshow will be focussing  on fun and safe flying - We will have displays and racing of many types of devices. We are inviting commercial operators and vendors, hobbyists, film makers, mapping groups, land surveyors, utility network overseers, search and rescue groups and nature photographers.

 

As flyers commit to taking part  our programming confirmations will be posted and updated on our social media page so stay in touch!

 

 

Its all £FREE - but we will be collecting for our hosts Beacon Hub!

It will be a family day but PLEASE PLEASE keep dogs and small children off the designated 'airfield'!
